Blepharoplasty

An unknown author once said “the eyes are the window of the soul”.  What good is a beautiful window with a breathtaking view, if the blinds are half closed?  It is the skin, muscle, and fat around the eyes that are constantly moved when expressions are changed and over time, it is aging that can cause some of these expressions, specifically fatigue, to appear permanent.  An eyelid lift, or blepharoplasty, is designed to restore a more youthful appearance to your eyes.  It may involve the upper lids, the lower lids, one or both.  Patients typically return to work in seven to ten days

Body Liposuction

Using the latest techniques, top of the line equipment, and precision care, fat is removed from targeted areas.  Although recovery rates vary from patient to patient, in most cases patients are able to return to most normal activities within a week. Dr. Blyer will recommend the exact timing, given your needs.

Abdominoplasty

A tummy tuck can significantly reduce extra skin from the lower abdomen and tighten the muscles of the abdominal wall. This type of body contouring is particularly helpful to women who have had several pregnancies by dramatically enhancing the appearance of the abdomen.  A crescent tuck is a smaller tummy tuck that leaves the belly button in its original position.  With the advent of new surgical techniques, recovery time today is much quicker and less painful.  Patients can return to work shortly after the surgery.

Breast Augmentation

There are many decisions to make before performing a breast augmentation, including breast size, incision placement, whether the implant is placed below or above the muscle, saline versus silicone, etc. Dr. Blyer has had substantial experience with placing both saline and silicone breast implants.  He was, in fact, chosen as one of a select group of surgeons, to participate in the FDA trials allowing for the silicone breast implant to renter the market.

Facelift

A facelift is not the same for any two people.  In general terms, it restores volume and repositions the face to regain a more youthful appearance. The facelift addresses sagging, loose skin of the midface, deep folds in sides of the nose and mouth, and creates definition along the jaw line.

By repositioning the muscles, skin and fat in the face via the inside of the mouth, or through a skin incision, a longer lasting, more natural result is achieved.  Additionally, there are patients who benefit from restoring volume with facial implants placed scarlessly through the mouth as an adjunct.  Other patients require filler material or laser resurfacing at the time of surgery to achieve the best possible outcome.

There are many facelift options available, including the VIP Lift, Quick Lift, Mini-Lift, SOOF Lift, Weekend Lift, Precision Lift, Four-dimensional Facelift and now, Dr. Blyer’s signature CAMEO lift.
